(Baltimore, Md.)—BronyCon, in conjunction with Bronies For Good, is proud to announce their official primary charity for the August 2014 convention.

This year’s charity will once again be CureSearch for Children’s Cancer. Based in Bethesda, Md., CureSearch is a national nonprofit organization that seeks to accelerate the cure for children’s cancer by driving innovation, eliminating research barriers, and solving the field’s most challenging problems.

In support of CureSearch, BronyCon will once again be hosting a charity auction, both in live auction and silent auction formats. This year’s lineup of items will be sure to please potential bidders of all types.

In addition to efforts in support of CureSearch, BronyCon has also teamed up with the Casey Cares Foundation Fifth Annual 5K Run/Walk taking place at 8:00 a.m. (EDT) Saturday, Aug. 2, at Oriole Park in Baltimore, Md.
